Gemini Earn

Excerpt of email: We are pleased and relieved to let you know that we have finally reached a settlement in principle with Genesis and other creditors in the Genesis Bankruptcy that will, if approved by the Bankruptcy Court, result in all Earn users receiving 100% of their digital assets back in kind. This means, for example, that if you had lent one bitcoin in the Earn program, you will receive one bitcoin back. And it means that you will receive any and all appreciation of your assets since you lent them into the Earn program. If approved, we will be returning over $1.8 billion in value (at today’s prices) — $700 million more than when Genesis halted withdrawals on November 16, 2022. Looking forward, if the Bankruptcy Court approves the settlement in principle announced today, you can expect to receive approximately 97% of your assets in kind within about two months. And you can expect to receive your remaining asset balance within the next 12 months. The settlement in principle...

I did it, I took profits! Paid off debt, and now to DCA back in

For the first time since 2021 I cashed out. I've bought/sold plenty of times since starting my journey, though mostly held and continue to farm DeFi as a sort of crypto-based perpetuity, but for the first time I sold a chunk of my BTC to pay off my remaining debt. I'm now free of all credit card debt for the first time ever! Been cycling 0% loans forever, but it still weighed on me and it's just too risky when life happens and you need liquidity (learned this the ... suboptimal way). My only remaining debt is my mortgage, but maybe after this next cycle I can be completely debt free. Hot damn #feelsgoodman Given that I've been DCAing in all the way from the bottom of 16k, I was able to sell about half my BTC which covered my entire initial capital outlay and so now I'm left with all profit and it's back to DCA until we hit the real bull run. After locking in my profits I'm still left with a nice chunk of cash so I'm just going to rebalance my portf...

When Sending Ethereum, should I not Adjust the Gas price at all? Does adjusting it Put my Money at Risk? I just "Resent" four transactions on Atomic Wallet to reset the Nonce because I am new to crypto and This is what Happened.

Ok so I just resent four stuck transactions on Atomic Wallet. I had originally put a low gas price thinking it would literally just take a few hours and be done, I didnt know it would just never get dealt with. So now I resent using a slightly below average amount of Gwei, just like 2-3 under the going default so the transactions "completed" in 30 seconds to a minute and a half. However, all four transactions failed....great . I just burned $12 after wasting several days on top. Is this just a crappy wallet? Should I stop sending until I get an L2 Layer going? Would love to know why these transactions failed. I sent directly from my wallet to a Coingate operated vendor . Thanks submitted by /u/AyoFettyWudup [link] [comments] http://dlvr.it/T3FKRp

Navigating the Sea of Nano/Micro Cap AI Cryptos: Seeking criteria to filter out

Hi everyone, As someone primarily invested in Bitcoin and Ethereum, I'm exploring the idea of diversifying my portfolio by dedicating around 10% of my investments into nano or micro cap coins, specifically within the AI categories. CoinMarketCap lists about 100 tokens that fit this bill, but I'm at a bit of a crossroads on how to effectively sift through them to identify those with genuine potential. Given the vast number of factors to consider, from price history (if reached ath in previous bull markets likely means it'll never reach a new ath) to trading volume, whether they're listed on major exchanges, and the credibility and track record of the founders, the process seems daunting. I'm looking for guidance on how to navigate these waters. How do you filter through such a vast array of projects? What criteria do you prioritize to narrow down your choices before delving deeper into technical analysis or whitepaper evaluations? Any insights, strategies, or...

Are you bullish or bearish about the upcoming 2 months before the Bitcoin halving date?

The past couple of weeks have been very interesting, with Bitcoin and Eth hitting their yearly highs, and a lot of price movement among alts as well. This week though the market is doing a crab walk and can't decide if it will rise or fall. It's no secret that the crypto market has historically gone on a bull run soon after the Bitcoin halving date. For those who are anticipating another epic rise, we're entering exciting times. But that doesn't mean it's easy to know when the invest. For example, right now: BTC - $51K , ETH - $3K , many notable alts up 50-100% but nowhere near all time highs. I could see a reasonable argument for both buying and selling. Buyers would say we are still very early and this is time to load up before the halving date. Sellers would say the bull run hasn't started, and we're due for a correction in the next 2 months. DCA fam would roll their eyes at both and keep doing what they've always done. But the...
