Crypto Scams on early Users, what to look for?

Early on in my crypto ventures as most people who dabble in this space have experienced. Is being scammed. I was scammed almost 2 years ago for 8gz. I wanted to punch myself in the face for sure. because your brain immediatly tells you how dumb you are. whats your experiences with scams and how did you deal with it? how did you navigate the space safely? or not? when i got fucked, it happened on solana. right before the samo run. i legit had 8000 dollars worth of samo at .004646.
